Contemporary artists! we are looking for work for our fall exhibition in Endeavor Art Gallery. Reach a young and growing group of art lovers and collectors who support Canada’s contemporary art scene. Endeavor Arts is an innovative contemporary art gallery featuring mixed media, digital, sculptural and other artwork featuring the materials, methods and mediums of our time.
Vogue. A term often used to describe the latest trend in fashion, but it is rarely used to describe other works in other industries. Vogue Art is an exhibit that will feature from sculptural work, wall art including 3D design, mixed media, illustration, photography, accessories, fashion and music. To be part of Vogue, your artwork must represent innovation in:
* the toolset used
* the material used
* the styles employed to create the work
* non traditional
* tell a story
Endeavor arts will jury all submissions, please email your work to submissions@endeavorarts.com with the subject Vogue – Art Exhibit submission.
1. Up to 5 images of the artwork to be considered. To give yourself the best chance for a successful jurying, choose your pieces as if you were preparing for a solo exhibition. All of the work you submit should demonstrate a consistent and well developed style. Avoid submitting a non-cohesive body of work and most importantly, remember the name of the exhibit. All pieces are to be clearly labeled to include: title, date, medium, size and suggested retail price.
Explain why your work should be part of Vogue and provide a short artist statement (no longer than one page) along with your name, email address and telephone number.
2. A copy of your resume and/or other items you wish to include (e.g. brochures, reviews…)
3. An example of supporting images, videos or other content that might help connect your artwork to the viewers.
If selected, you will be contacted by Sept 18 and receive a contract along with further information on exhibition. There will be an artist fee to offset costs of advertising.

On Going Call to Artists
We are looking for artists with an existing body of work as well as those new artists looking for a place to begin their careers.
Your artwork must represent innovation in:
* the toolset used
* the material used
* the styles employed to create the work
Endeavor arts juries artwork on a regular basis with a jury composed of gallery principals and a community Advisory board. If you are interested in becoming a member artist, please deliver the following to the gallery director at submissions@endeavorarts.com:
1. 10-20 images of your artwork. To give yourself the best chance for a successful jurying, choose your pieces as if you were preparing for a solo exhibition. All of the work you submit should demonstrate a consistent and well developed style. Avoid submitting a non-cohesive body of work or work from different periods of your artistic development. All pieces are to be clearly labeled to include: title, medium and retail price.
Explain what makes your artwork innovative. Be sure to provide your name, email address and telephone number.
2. A copy of your resume and/or other items you wish to include (e.g. a short artist’s statement, brochures, reviews…)
3. An example of supporting images, videos or other content that might help connect your artwork to customers.

Endeavor Arts is looking for Artists, Engineers, Hybrids, Cyborgs and all-round clever people to
help define the future of Art.
We are looking for submissions in the three following areas:
Robots as art
● including but not limited to:
○ Circuit boards as art (must be a functional circuit design, and aesthetically presentable as art)
○ Kinetic Sculptures
○ Automatons
○ Robotic integrated sculptures
APCircuits has graciously agreed to print out the chosen circuits to help mitigate the artist’s costs.
Art by Robots (or assisted by)
● including but not limited to:
○ Drawing machines
○ Digital art
○ Animations
Art for Robots (we will accept Cyborgs and evolved beings here as well)
● including but not limited to
○ Data visualization as art
○ Re-interpretations of traditional art forms
○ Circuit board designs
This will be a juried show in a commercial gallery, so please consider that some part of your submission must be saleable and present during the exhibition – either the work itself or replications / derivations of the work.
Include your resume, the field or industry you belong to and a short statement on pieces you submit. Submit images to submissions@endeavorarts.com, posted CD or upload to our FTP site (email with request for FTP information).
Your work may be chosen to show offsite at Calgary’s Mini Maker Faire on September 8th, 2012

Space Art Exhibition
Exhibition on display until Saturday Oct 26.
The Inexorable Evolution of Art is a space art exhibition examining how space exploration and related technologies are being used to transform art and culture, and inspire a new generation of innovators. Representing the works of over 50 internationally acclaimed space artists, Revolutions will feature a variety of space artworks including art derived from space technologies, art designed for microgravity environments, orbital art, and art inspired by space developments.
Slated to tour nationally, the CSS is debuting Revolutions on September 12th with a star studded benefit event at Endeavor. Proceeds from this event will go to the Alberta Arts Flood Rebuild initiative in support of artists and arts communities who were affected by the 2013 floods.
The event will include space-inspired live music and dance performances, fashion shows, special guest appearances, and a DJ party that promises to be one of the highlights of the Beakerhead art and technology festival. Local artists featured in the Revolutions flood benefit event include: conceptual space artist Bryan Versteeg, wearable art designers Dee Fontans and Eric Willis, sculptor Jeff de Boer, film maker and artist Brian Batista, Momentum Dance Collective, DJ Fayyaz Khimani of Pez Productions and many more!

Francis expresses himself artistically through piano composition and songwriting. He has been published and exhibited internationally
Francis was recognized recently with a Lucie Award-3rd place for fine art photography at the International photography awards.
Francis has released 2 solo piano albums-The Parlour Kiss & When We Loved.
